The W96 Series E3 TOP GUN 2000™ Spike Driver will set and drive spikes on both sides of each rail. A Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) controls major machine functions; drivers, spike feeds, nipper and gauger. The PLC program determines when the machine functions will be performed through analog position sensors (string pot type or linear rod type). The PLC can be easily programmed to change the machine function to suit the operator's preference and/or varying track conditions. The PLC program also has incorporated machine system interlocks and safety disables for operator safety.

The Model 96E-1 is a dual head spiking machine that sets and drives line and anchor spikes on both sides of each rail. The machine is designed to maximize available production time by utilizing a separate person to fill the spike feed chutes for the four driving guns, while the two operators concentrate on locating the tie plate holes and driving of the spikes. Dual controls allow either operator to propel and/or brake the machine. The 96E-1 Spike Driver is perfect for use in tie renewal gangs or can be used as a single-side machine with one operator and a spike feeder in rail relay operations.

Trak Gun™ Spike Driver, Model 130B is a single head spiking machine that sets and drives two spikes concurrently on one rail at production rates of 15–18 ties per minute with just one operator and a second person to fill the spike chutes. The machine can drive line and anchor spikes on both sides of one rail and has sufficient pattern adjustment to drive all spikes in tie plates for 85-lb. to 155-lb. standard rails. The 130B provides an effective alternative to the use of production spikers in curve and rail relay gangs. With it's compact size and operating weight of less than 6,500-lbs. it's not only more efficient than the large production machines, but can easily be set on or off the track by the mobile cranes used in these gangs. |
The Model 96E-2 is a dual head spiking machine that sets and drives line and anchor spikes on both sides of each rail. The 96E-2 is designed for versatility of operation. The spike feed chutes are positioned so the two operators can fill the chutes with spikes in addition to operating the machine. With an optional center seat and spike chute extensions, a third person can be utilized to fill the spike chutes. The versatile model 96E-2 can thus be set up as desired for minimal manpower requirements or for maximum production. This model is ideal for use in tie renewal gangs in either configuration or can be used as a single-side machine in rail relay operations with one operator and the optional spike feeder.

The Model W113 Series E Dual Spike Puller pulls spikes from one or both sides of one rail with the machine spotted over a single tie. The machine is available in both left hand and right hand configurations and is usually used singularly in rail gangs or in pairs—one of each configuration—in tie renewal gangs to pull spikes from one or both rails as needed. The puller mechanism is adjustable for different spike patterns and rail heights, and can be set to completely pull or partially pull spikes.

The Model SSTA Spike Supply Trailer— the essential step to using bulk handling methods to cut the costs of getting track spikes from supplier to your spike driving machine. HTT's SSTA Spike Supply Trailer can keep your spikers supplied and on the job all day, without a stop for spikes, without pre-distribution. |
W134 Series A Dual Rail Spike Puller (Two Operator Stations) pulls spikes from both sides of both rails with one spotting over a single tie. The machine is equipped with two independent puller workheads and control stations for two operators.
